Εκπαιδευτικοί των Δημοτικών Σχολείων Χανίων ξεκινούν συνεργασία με το Erasmus+ MAIL Project

Οι εκπαιδευτικοί από το 10ο και το 15ο  Δημοτικό Σχολείο Χανίων συναντήθηκαν πρόσφατα με τη Διευθύντρια της Διεύθυνσης Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης Χανίων και μέλη της ομάδας έργου στα κεντρικά γραφεία του οργανισμού, με σκοπό την επίσημη έναρξη της συνεργασίας στο πλαίσιο του Erasmus+ M{AI}L Project (https://mailproject.eu/). Η συνάντηση αυτή αποτέλεσε ένα σημαντικό πρώτο βήμα για τον συντονισμό των στόχων, την ανταλλαγή τεχνογνωσίας και τη θεμελίωση μιας κοινής προσπάθειας που εστιάζει στην καινοτομία στην εκπαίδευση.

Τον επόμενο μήνα, το έργο θα περάσει στη φάση επιμόρφωσης των εκπαιδευτικών, με την υλοποίηση μιας σειράς βιωματικών εργαστηρίων για εκπαιδευτικούς από διαφορετικά γνωστικά αντικείμενα. Κατά τη διάρκεια των εργαστηρίων, οι συμμετέχοντες θα γνωρίσουν τις βασικές αρχές της Μηχανικής Μάθησης (Machine Learning – ML) μέσω του εργαλείου Teachable Machine, ενός εύχρηστου και προσβάσιμου εργαλείου που επιτρέπει την πρακτική εφαρμογή εννοιών της Μηχανικής Μάθησης.

Κύριος στόχος της επιμόρφωσης είναι η ενδυνάμωση των εκπαιδευτικών με τις απαραίτητες γνώσεις και δεξιότητες, ώστε να ενσωματώσουν αποτελεσματικά την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη και τη Μηχανική Μάθηση στη διδακτική τους πρακτική. Μέσα από τη σύνδεση θεωρίας και πράξης, το έργο επιδιώκει να ενισχύσει τις ψηφιακές δεξιότητες, τη δημιουργικότητα και τη διεπιστημονική μάθηση των μαθητών, προσφέροντας σύγχρονες καινοτόμες μεθόδους μάθησης στη σχολική τάξη.

Educators from Chania’s Primary Schools Launch Collaboration with the Erasmus+ M{AI}L Project

Educators from the 10th and 15th Primary Schools of Chania recently met with the Director of Chania’s Primary Education Directorate and members of the project team at the organisation’s headquarters, marking the official launch of their collaboration within the Erasmus+ M{AI}L Project (https://mailproject.eu/). The meeting represented an important first step in aligning objectives, sharing expertise, and establishing a joint effort aimed at promoting innovation in education.

Next month, the project will enter the teacher training phase, featuring a series of hands-on workshops for educators from different subject areas. During these sessions, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of Machine Learning (ML) using Teachable Machine, a user-friendly and accessible digital tool that allows practical experimentation with ML concepts in the classroom.

The main goal of the training is to empower educators with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning into their teaching practice. By bridging theory and practice, the project aims to enhance students’ digital skills, creativity, and interdisciplinary learning, providing modern and innovative teaching methods for the classroom.
